How to get training literature at the beginning of the academic year?
Textbooks in electronic format can be searched and read on the page - lib.rudn.ru/resources/20, each resource has a description of how to access it. You can get advice by corporate mail library@rudn.ru, on the website lib.rudn.ru through the chat “Virtual Librarian”, in the reading rooms of the library from consultants.
If you prefer hard copy textbooks, you can borrow a set of books for the semester from the library service desks (as long as there is no debt).
The service of readers and distribution of printed materials is carried out by faculties/institutes/academies if there is a confirmation of belonging to RUDN University with the number of Student ID/certificate (e.g. enrollment order, RUDN student's personal account lk.rudn.ru).

- Study materials are given for one or two semesters depending on the course being lectured.
- Academic and fiction books - no more than 5 books per 14 days.
- Single copy books must be returned on the day it is received.
- At the end of each semester it is obligatory to return or re-register all books.
- Readers who have not returned books within the specified period are deprived of the right to use the library for a period from 1 to 6 months by the decision of the administration of the UNIBCC (Scientific Library).
- Students who are expelled from the university, going on academic leave, are obliged to hand in all the library books.
The reader who lost or spoiled the *book is obliged to compensate the library for the damage caused:
- The replacement of a lost book with a similar book (it is possible to replace a book with a later year of publication or a reprinted and revised one).
- The replacement of a book similar in subject matter.
- The cost of lost or damaged literature can be reimbursed with the reader’s consent on his written application in money equivalent according to the "Scheme for determining the amount of damage for lost literature from the Study and Research Information Librarian Center (RL) funds".
* The book is considered to be spoiled if: pages are torn out, inscriptions and underscores are made with a pen or marker, damage to the text or barcodes has been caused.
